Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking by request

All bookings are made by request. Submitting the request form does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation by email, after checking availability with the venue, your host and the interpreter.

2. Request deadline

Requests must be submitted no later than 7 days before the preferred date for the Noh theatre and yakitori experiences, and no later than 14 days before for the Shimanami cycling tour. Dates inside these windows cannot be requested.

3. Payment

No payment is taken when you submit a request. After your date is confirmed, we will email you a secure payment link. Your reservation is completed upon receipt of payment. Prices are shown in Japanese yen and include consumption tax.

4. Cancellation by the guest

Cancellation fees are calculated on the price of the experience. The applicable scale depends on the experience, and is also shown on each experience page and on the request form.

The day before the tour	50% of the price
On the day / no-show	100% of the price

Days are counted in Japan Standard Time, excluding the day of the experience itself. To cancel, please reply to your confirmation email.

5. Cancellation or changes by the operator

In the rare case that we must cancel a confirmed session (illness of the host, natural disaster, or other unavoidable circumstances), we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of any payment received. We are not responsible for other costs such as transportation or accommodation.

6. Participation

• Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time. Late arrival may shorten the experience; the full price applies.
• Please follow the instructions of your host and the staff at the venue — a working Noh theatre or restaurant.
• Guests participate at their own responsibility regarding health conditions. Please tell us in advance about any concerns.
